Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information APUTRAC LLC (“APUTRAC”, “we”, “us”) collects through www.aputrac.com and the APUTRAC FE Score tool at app.aputrac.com/score, how we use it, and the choices you have. Information handled through the APUTRAC monitoring service for airline customers is governed by the agreement with that customer, not by this policy.
Information we collect
When you visit our website
- We do not use advertising or analytics cookies or trackers on www.aputrac.com.
- Our hosting provider records standard technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use it to keep the site secure and running.
- The site loads a font from Google Fonts. When it does, Google receives your IP address and browser information.
- The site embeds a video from Vimeo. Vimeo may collect information, and may set cookies, when the video loads or plays, as described in Vimeo’s own privacy policy.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you use the FE Score tool
The answers you type stay in your browser until you press Submit. When you submit, we collect:
- your name, role, work email address and company name;
- the answers you gave about your operation, such as aircraft types and numbers, turnarounds, APU run times, monitoring methods, ground power, policy, training and fuel price;
- your resulting score and estimates, whether you asked for a detailed analysis, your consent, and the time of submission.
How we use information
- To respond to your emails and requests.
- To email you your FE Score results.
- If you ask for one, to contact you about a detailed analysis of your operation.
- To understand how the FE Score tool is used and to improve it.
- To protect the security of our site and services.
We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run our site and tools. They handle information only to provide those services:
- Railway, which hosts the website, the FE Score tool and its database;
- Resend, which delivers the emails the FE Score tool sends;
- Microsoft, which provides our business email;
- Google (fonts) and Vimeo (video), as described above.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public, and as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as it is useful for the purposes above, and then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or tell us you no longer want to be contacted, by emailing privacy@aputrac.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will honor them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where information is processed
Our providers process information in the United States and possibly other countries. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and handled in those countries.
Children
Our website and tools are intended for airline and aviation professionals. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
